Penguins coach Mike Sullivan says he doesn’t know yet who will start in net against Montreal in the first game of the play-in series Saturday night. Matt Murray started the exhibition game against the Flyers on Tuesday and split the playing time with Tristan Jarry. Murray gave up two goals in the first period, neither of which were all that preventable, and Jarry gave up the breakaway goal that sealed the game for the Flyers in overtime.
Sullivan says the goalies are making it a tough decision.
The Penguins came out of the Philly game with no new injuries. The airtime for the Pens and Canadiens on Saturday will be 6:30 PM, with puck drop at 8 on 92.5 FM, U92 and the U92 Sportschannel.
