Police in Indiana Borough are reminding people to keep their cars locked after two reports came in on Friday for thefts from automobiles.
The thefts happened in the overnight hours of April 14th in the areas of 600 South 7th Street and 700 Grant Street. One victim reported to police that their vehicle had been ransacked and left with items scattered throughout. The other victim reported a handgun, two wallets, and Apple Airpods were stolen.
Residents are asked to keep their vehicles locked when unoccupied and parked, and to store valuable items elsewhere. Anyone who saw anything suspicious or was able to capture any suspicious activity in the areas of the two robberies on video is asked to call borough police at 724-349-2121.
