A current member of the Indiana School Board has announced that she will run for re-election.
In a statement released Sunday, Tammie Blank announced her attempt for a second term on the school board. In her time on the board, she has been the chairperson for the outreach committee and part of the Academic Committee and the Policy and Personnel Committee. During her time on the board, she said that she has helped to maintain a reasonable plan for the rebuilding of Eisenhower Elementary, supporting the outdoor classroom at Ben Franklin Elementary, advocated for improvements in the Jr. High and High School technology programs, and increased outreach efforts for the board.
She enters a very crowded field for the school board primary, which will be held on May 16th.
