At Monday night’s meeting, the Indiana Area School Board unanimously approved the district’s health and safety plan.
The plan provides for all health and safety guidelines in the district. Superintendent Michael Vukovich said that if the district were to reopen today, the district would be in the green phase and that would give parents and students a choice.
Vukovich added that the plans could change on a moment’s notice, and board member Cinda Brode asked everyone to remain flexible in case things change.
The board also re-approved the district’s reopening plan, approved the athletics health and safety plan and approved revising the school calendar to have school start September 8th.
