While not as many people are utilizing Mack Park Pool this year, officials say that things are still going well in the face of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Eric Neal of the YMCA said that while the weather has been extremely favorable for pool use, they have had “pretty decent attendance” at the pool. He did note that the numbers were not as high as prior years, but attributed it to people taking extra precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Neal added that they have taken extra measures to keep things sanitized and safe during the pandemic, including a system to make sure that people know what lounge chairs to use.
The pool is open 11 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday and Noon to 6 PM on Saturday.
