On Thursday night, the Purchase Line School Board approved salary increases for four main and assistant coaching positions.
The original proposal had the head coaches for Track, Cross Country, Baseball and Softball making $2500 while the assistant coaches for those same sports would receive $2000. But Acting superintendent David London said that the board wanted to take a closer look at the salaries.
The original proposal was rejected for lack of a second, and the board moved forward with a new plan that went retroactive to the start of the fiscal year.
In other business, the board accepted the resignations of Clarine Beatty and Paula Saylor from co-curricular and extra-curricular positions. Their resignations had been accepted at a previous meeting for the teaching positions they held in the district.
