The Penguins’ Sidney Crosby left the ice for unexplained reasons yesterday during a two-period scrimmage.
Crosby scored a goal as his Team Black beat Team Gold, 7-0, with goaltender Matt Murray surrendering all seven goals for Team Gold. Murray had to face a power-packed lineup that included the team’s two best lines.
Other goals were scored by Jake Guentzel, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang, Justin Schultz, and Sam Lafferty, who switched to Team Black after Crosby left and put the puck behind Murray twice.
