The Marion Center Fire Department was called out for a rescue call Friday night after someone reported that a child was locked in a vehicle.
In a post on their Facebook page, fire officials say the call went out at 5:51 PM at a location on Route 403 North in East Mahoning Township. When they got there, they found a two-year-old child locked in the vehicle. Extrication was completed within eight minutes of their arrival. There were no reported injuries.
Fire officials say that this was at a baseball game, and the child in the car had accidentally hit the lock button.
