One person had a suspected minor injury from a vehicle crash on Route 22 in East Wheatfield Township. State Police say on Wednesday, around 11:06 AM, 45-year-old James Szarama of Greensburg was travelling east in the right lane of Route 22 when he veered onto the rumble strip and eventually hit a jersey barrier. Szarama was not treated, but he will be cited for careless driving.
State Police have charged two Homer City people with simple assault. Police say on Wednesday night at 6:40 PM, a 34-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man engaged in a verbal and physical altercation at a home on Apple Street. Charges were filed through the local district court
INDIANA BOROUGH
Indiana Borough Police are investigating a case of criminal mischief that happened sometime between 3 PM Tuesday and 8 AM Wednesday. During that time, someone damaged the plow lights on a red Toyota truck parked in the 500 block of Nixon Avenue. If you have any information, contact police at 724-349-2121.
