The presidents of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference member schools will vote today on whether or not to have fall sports, and how to proceed from this point forward. A Zoom meeting is scheduled for this afternoon.
There will be 18 school leaders involved in the meeting, with a formal announcement of their decision scheduled for tomorrow morning. Several other Division Two leagues have already canceled their fall seasons, including the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the California Collegiate Athletic Association. In Division One, the Ivy league and Patriot League have canceled fall sports.
The fall sports calendar in the PSAC includes football, soccer, cross country, golf, field hockey, and volleyball seasons.
