On Monday night, the Indiana School Board voted to enter into a lawsuit against several social media companies.
The agreement is with Frantz Law Group of San Diego, and Dillon, McCandless, King, Coulter and Graham of Butler, and with district solicitor Ron Repak, and the district will join several other districts in legal action against social media companies like TikTok, YouTube and Meta to claim money damages. Repak explains the lawsuit.
Expenses will be funded by the Frantz Law Group and if there is no recovery, the district will not have to pay for any legal fees.
In other business, the board approved the Eisenhower Design Development Submission from Buchart Horn Architect, and set an Act 34 hearing for Monday, May 1st at 6:30 PM at the Junior High Auditorium.
