STATE POLICE RELEASE PANDEMIC VIOLATION STATISTICS

The Pennsylvania State Police released law enforcement statistics spanning over the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of today, state police Troop A, which covers Indiana, Ebensburg, Somerset, Kiski Valley and Greensburg report that no health and safety enforcement warnings or citations were issued since April 19. However, police issued two stay-at-home citations dating back to April 1^st, and 35 business closure enforcement warnings dating back to March 23^rd.

When comparing these statistics to the rest of Pennsylvania State Police troops, Troop A handed out the third-most business closure enforcement warnings since March 23^rd, and the second-most stay-at-home enforcement citations in the state. Only Troop F – Coudersport, Mansfield regions – leads ahead of Troop A with stay-at-home citations with seven.
