The State System of Higher Education and the union representing its teachers wrapped up a two-day negotiation session on Friday.
According to a news release from APSCUF, topics over the negotiations on Thursday and Friday included student evaluations, office hours, continuing education and leave. Both sides also shared lists of future items to be discussed. APSCUF President Dr. Kenneth Mash said that while talks have been productive, the lists are long and will need many more meetings before an agreement is reached.
The next negotiation session is set for May 15th. The current four-year contract is set to expire on June 30th.
