The new year is just underway, and already there are several public meetings on the schedule.
The White Township supervisors will meet for reorganization tonight, naming its officers, setting compensation rates, and making appointments to a number of panels.
The Center Township supervisors meet tonight as well in regular session. The United School Board is on tonight’s meeting schedule, and so are the Indiana and Homer City borough councils.
Two other school boards are scheduled to meet this week. Penns Manor and Homer Center have planning meetings on Thursday.
