State police say retail theft charges will be filed against an Apollo woman for walking out of the White Township Walmart without paying for her merchandise on June 25th.
47-year-old Allison Mankie is accused of trying to steal $485 worth of items. She was observed walking out of the store with the items in a shopping cart.
GLEN CAMPBELL BOROUGH
Police also report the theft of two weed whackers from the garage of a 69-year-old Glen Campbell Borough man. It happened between 10 o’clock and 10:30 on the night of June 23rd. The two machines have a combined value of $230.
INDIANA COUNTY
State police have issued the name of June’s “standout speeder” in Indiana County. 22-year-old Chance Dietz of Stoystown, Somerset County, was caught going 96 miles per hour in a 55 mile-per-hour zone.
Police do not say when or on what highway Dietz was driving when he was pulled over.
