The caddies for both Koepka and Graeme McDowell tested positive, prompting them to withdraw, while Simpson withdrew when he learned a family member had tested positive.
Two PGA players, Nick Watney and Cameron Champ, have tested positive for COVID-19 since the PGA returned from a three-month hiatus two weeks ago, and Commissioner Jay Monahan announced yesterday that the Tour will be strictly enforcing its Covid-19 regulations and there will be “severe repercussions” for those who violate it.
