Penguins goaltender Matt Murray has won two Stanley Cups and he is ready to try for a third. He sat down yesterday for a video chat and you can see the video here.

Murray says the voluntary workouts have gone very well, and they’ve helped him get in some good work.
Murray says he likes the 24-team playoff format, and it should be great to watch.
He says the work the team is putting in now before training camp is very important to the team’s ultimate success.
The Canadiens are the twelfth seed in the East while the Penguins are seeded fifth, but Murray says Montreal will be a stiff challenge.
Pittsburgh has been eliminated as potential hub city for the NHL playoffs. According to ESPN, the league is down to Las Vegas, Chicago, LA, Edmonton, Toronto, and Vancouver. Dallas, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Columbus have also been eliminated. The league will select two hub cities, one for the East and one for the West.
The Hockey Hall of Fame will announce its Class of 2020 today. Former Penguins Marian Hossa and Jerome Iginla are nominees, along ex-NHL players Daniel Alfredsson, Alexander Mogilny, Patrick Elias and Rod Brind’Amour, and former Soviet Olympic team captain Boris Mikhailov.
