INDIANA BOROUGH
Indiana Borough Police investigated a case of assault and harassment and have charged an Indiana man with those crimes. Police say at 1:17 this morning, they were called out to the 300 block of North 8th street for a report of a domestic assault. When they got there, they found that Dustin Dewitt had assaulted an un-named victim. Dewitt was arrested and charged and is now in Indiana County Jail awaiting arraignment.
Indiana Borough Police report that a man was arrested for having too much “Christmas spirits” in him earlier this morning, making him intoxicated. Police say that Logan Bellman was found in front of an establishment in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street and was intoxicated to the point that he was a danger to himself or others. Bellman was placed in Indiana County Jail and a citation of public drunkenness was filed with district judge Guy Haberl’s office.
