State Police from the Indiana Barracks are investigating some incidents where some unknown Grinches stole items from various locations.
One theft was reported between the 19th and 21st at a home on Old Route 56 in Shelocta. The victim’s name was not released, but the thief stole two bolt-action rifles and 20 cans of ammunition.
Another theft happened recently at the Days Inn in Burrell Township, as a known suspect who was not named stole a TV set from the motel, valued at $580. Charges are pending.
One theft was outside a White Township grocery store on December 18th. This was at the 4th Street Bilo as around 3:55 AM, someone broke into the Coca-Cola machine outside the store and took $100 from the machine.
On December 12th, State Police say a home was burglarized on Byron Court in White Township. The victim reported that someone entered his home and stole an Xbox 360 and three games.
