Vicky Lynn Fritz, 58, of Kent, PA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 19, 2020 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
The daughter of George W. and Mary M. (Platt) Fritz, she was born March 3, 1962 in Latrobe, PA.
Vicky graduated from Blairsville High School, Class of 1980 and worked 14 years as a caregiver for Passavant Memorial Homes, Indiana, PA.
She was a member of West Lebanon Community Church.
She enjoyed the outdoors, loved to go camping and spending time with Steve Mitchell.
Surviving are a sister, Debra Fritz of Blairsville; five brothers, Jack Fritz (Kate) of Blairsville; Mark Fritz (Darla) of Blairsville; Rev. Rick Fritz (Rosemary) of Girard, OH; Troy Fritz (Sarah) of Clyde and Rev. Chad Fritz (Jennifer) of Blairsville and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Vicky’s last words were “I Love Jesus”.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the funeral home with her brothers, Rev. Rick Fritz and Rev. Chad Fritz co-officiating.
Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
