In Indiana County Court today, a number of defendants are scheduled for sentencing.
Included among them is 19-year-old Luke Erath of McKess Rocks, Allegheny County. He was one of three defendants in a robbery at an IUP residence hall last November. The three of them robbed a fellow student of fifty dollars and some marijuana at Wallwork Hall, with one for the defendants pushing the victim against a wall and poking a gun into his chest. The weapon was later discovered to be a BB gun. In a plea bargain, Erath admitted guilt to a single count of conspiracy to commit robbery.
Erather will also be sentenced for a guilty plea to a possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a case from September of last year.
In a burglary case, 39-year-old Justin Gressley of Homer City will be sentenced for theft. His case originated in March of this year. He pleaded guilty in October.
21-year-old Richard Ralph-Corry Harshaberger of Indiana will be sentenced for possesion with intent to deliver, in a case from April of 2015.
33-year-old Frank Gardner of Indiana is still listed on the schedule for sentencing in two cases, although his attorney on Wednesday asked for continuances. They are both drug cases from 2015. Last week, he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possession with intent to deliver in one of the filings, and the charges were dropped in the second, although it still is listed for court action.
