The average cost of a gallon of gas in Pennsylvania has gone up in the last week.
According to Triple-A, the statewide gas price average is now at $2.36 a gallon, which is five cents higher than last week, 15 cents higher than last month, but still 48 cents lower than where it was last year.
For Indiana County, the average cost of a gallon of gas is higher than the state average, at $2.45 a gallon. Many of the gas stations in Indiana Borough and White Township have a $2.45 a gallon rate. In Homer City, while the Sheetz station on 119 reports a $2.51 a gallon gas price, Kwik Fill is now reporting an average of $2.45 a gallon. Gas prices in Blairsville also hovering between $2.45 and $2.51 a gallon.
