Indiana County President Judge William Martin will sentence a number of criminal defendants today, including a Seward man who pleaded guilty to retail theft in eight separate cases. 33-year-old Patrick Wayne Palmer committed the thefts between March and December last year.
Judge Martin is also scheduled to sentence 32-year-old Andrew Kirk Rankin of Creekside for two counts of possession with intent to deliver in two separate cases, one from June of last year and one from July.
27-year-old Collin David Polka of New Bethlehem, Clarion County, will be sentenced for four guilty pleas, two each for retail theft and corruption of minors in two cases from last year.
30-year-old Anthony Plueckhahn of Marion Center will be sentenced for possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness.
19-year-old Logan Spade of Punxsutawney will be sentenced for statutory sexual assault of a victim between the ages of four and eight, and of corruption of minors.
24-year-old Brandon Laroy Franklin of Detroit, Michigan, will be sentenced for retail theft.
50-year-old Antoinette Marie Zack of Clymer will be sentenced for guilty pleas to terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.
41-year-old Candice Reinhart of Black Lick will be sentenced for theft.
Cherish Chanelle Wright of Rossiter will have Plea Court today for possession of a controlled substance, and of drug paraphernalia.
There are also multiple DUI Criminal Call hearings scheduled today in Indiana County Court.
