After a garage fire was reported on Monday, things were active for Indiana County’s first responders.
The garage fire was reported at 11:08 AM on Two Lick Hill Road in Cherryhill Township. The Cherryhill Township, Clymer, Pine Township and Commodore fire departments were dispatched at the time, along with Citizens’ Ambulance and the county’s HAZMAT team. Reports from the scene revealed that the fire was in fact the controlled burn of a garage.
The Rossiter fire department was dispatched at 1:51 PM to help Jefferson County EMS on the scene of an incident on Central Street. Dayton firefighters were called out at 2:12 PM for a gas leak on Hoover Road in West Mahoning Township, with a second gas leak reported about 45 minutes later on Canoe Ridge Road. The second call brought Rossiter and Marion Center firefighters out.
Clymer firefighters were dispatched to a car crash on Franklin Street in Clymer Borough at 4:07.
Glen Campbell fire crews were out at 5:59 on Glenwood Avenue in Glenn Campbell Borough for a reported debris fire, and at 12:09 this morning, a transformer fire was reported along Clarksburg Road in Conemaugh Township, with Tunnelton and Saltsburg Fire Departments called out at that time.
