A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries Saturday afternoon in a collision with a van on Route 982 at Industrial Boulevard in Derry Township, Westmoreland County. A medical helicopter flew the injured cyclist from the accident scene. No police report is available as yet.
Black Lick and Blairsville firefighters set up a helicopter landing zone last night at an accident scene on Old Indiana Road in Burrell Township. That crash happened shortly before 9 PM.
Indiana County 911 also reports accidents on Route 259 in Brush Valley Township at 4:22 yesterday afternoon and on Fire Tower Road in Banks Township at about 5 o’clock.
