After an off day yesterday, the Pirates return to LECOM Park in Bradenton for a matchup against the Boston Red Sox at one o’clock. Johan Oviedo will start for the Bucs.

MLB issued a memo to teams yesterday saying that teams will be allowed to use video review for infield shift violations. This will only be allowed if a player was out of position when-and-if a ball was hit to them. Commissioner Rob Manfred added that tweaks to the newly-implemented pitch clock could be made after Opening Day next Thursday.
