First responders are once again busy as they were called out early this morning and throughout the day on Sunday.
There are no reported injuries in a crash this morning in Montgomery Township. Indiana County 911 reported that there was a vehicle crash on Arcadia Road. Cherry Tree fire department and State Police were called to the scene at 5:42 this morning, and initial reports say there were no injuries. Further details are not available.
No details are available now on a crash in Westmoreland County on Route 22 that called out local emergency crews. Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments were called out at 6:14 AM for the vehicle accident, along with Citizen’s Ambulance Service. Coral-Graceton fire department has been called in as well for standby detail for Black Lick.
Indiana Fire Association was busy on Sunday with multiple calls. The first call on Sunday was at 7:12 AM for an automatic Fire Alarm activation at a location on South Ben Franklin Road. About a half hour later, they were called out again for a reported gas leak on North Ben Franklin Road. The third call was at 10:26 for another automatic fire alarm on West Pike Road. Indiana fire and police would be called out at 5:57 PM for a third automatic fire alarm call on South 6th Street in the borough.
Indiana County 911 reports the 43rd brush fire this year so far happened on Sunday afternoon. Indiana County 911 reported that Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments were dispatched to a location along Route 22 west in Burrell Township at 3:09 PM. No other details are available.
