Final site plans were approved at last night’s White Township Planning Commission meeting, including one for an existing building that will be modified for a business moving in.
The site plan for Diamond Medical Supply was approved. They are moving in and adding onto the former Novosel Civic Center on Route 286 past Wal-Mart. They plan on adding a shipping and receiving center along with a second floor for the business. 200 employees are expected, and they are going to add a second driveway to the property.
Also, the planning commission approved a site plan for property with Hudson Advisors LP for the intersection of Fenton Road and 286, which will be the new home for the State Police Barracks in Indiana. The proposed building would be 18,774 square feet, and would have 127 parking spaces, including an impound lot on-site.
A third site was approved for the Alice Paul House for a 14,026 square foot building. The plans were submitted by the county commissioners and by the county’s office of planning and development.
