The Indiana School Board will meet tonight and some contracts are on the agenda.
The board will consider tonight the contract for acting superintendent Robert Heinrich at a prorated salary of $130,000. Heinrich was named acting superintendent after Michael Vuckovich resigned the position so that he can get ready to take on a similar role in the Windber School District.
The board will also consider hiring a new principal for the Horace Mann Elementary School, and giving permission for the district administration to post, advertise and conduct interviews for multiple positions, including a secondary music teacher, a social studies teacher, a secondary ELA teacher, secondary math teacher, a special education teacher, one elementary teacher and an art teacher.
The meeting will start at 7:00 tonight at the district board room and will be streamed online through the district website.
