The next step in the PA Budget process is now finished as both the state house and senate have posted their schedules for budget hearings with the different state departments.
Hearings are scheduled to begin for both the state house and senate next Monday, March 20th, with the house hearing from the Department of Education and the senate hearing from both the Department of Revenue and the Independent Fiscal Office. Both State Representative Jim Struzzi and State Senator Joe Pittman will be involved in the budget talks as both are on their respective Appropriations Committees, which will conduct the hearings.
Budget hearings will wrap up on Friday, April 14th.
