The challenge is on to try to get new memberships and donations for Citizens’ Ambulance to help them get matching grant money in what’s being called “JoJo’s Challenge”.
Between now and April 30th, any money that is raised by the nonprofit ambulance company will be matched up to $100,000. The money will come from some anonymous donors, and came after a meeting between Citizens’ Ambulance and community leaders. B.J. Pino with Citizens said that the people who stepped up were trying to find an immediate solution to their financial problems.
