The Pittsburgh Penguins will play the first of back-to-back home games this afternoon as they take on their cross-state rivals, the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Pens are coming off a tough 4-3 overtime loss to the New York Islanders on Thursday night. As part of the team’s prep for today, the Pens recalled once again Alex Nylander from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton under emergency conditions. He had been recalled earlier this week as the team was without Mikel Granlund due to illness and Bryan Rust for a personal matter. It’s not known at this time who he is coming in for in this “emergency” situation.
The game starts at 3:30 today.
