The WPIAL unveiled its new basketball section alignments yesterday.
The Indiana boys will compete in 5A Section 1. They’ll be joined in the section by Armstrong, Hampton, Highlands, Mars, Plum, and Shaler.
Indiana’s girls will be 5A Section 2 with Armstrong, Fox Chapel, Hampton, Kiski, Mars, and Plum.
WPIAL newcomer Ligonier Valley’s boys will be 3A, and will play in Section Three with Apollo-Ridge, East Allegheny, Shady Side Academy, South Allegheny, Steel Valley and Valley.
The Rams’ girls will be Quad-A and play in Section Three with Belle Vernon, Elizabeth Forward, Mt. Pleasant, Southmoreland, West Mifflin, and Yough.
