A Vintondale woman was charged with several crimes in a domestic incident Friday night on Philadelphia Street.
Indiana Borough Police say they were dispatched at 9:25 last night to the Rite Aid pharmacy at 375 Philadelphia Street for a woman trying to run over a man with her car in the parking lot. When they got there, police identified the suspect, 36-year-old Lisa Steffey, along with the victim and several eyewitnesses. Steffey was taken into custody at that point, and lodged in the Indiana County Jail to await her arraignment. She is facing charges of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.
