State police have issued reports on two recent crashes.
One of the incidents happened yesterday on Route 119 just south of Route 286 in White Township. Troopers say that a Chevy Silverado and a Nissan Titan were both going South on 119 when some debris came out of the bed of the Silverado and hit the Titan. The driver of the Titan went to the State Police Barracks to report the incident while the truck continued South on 119. No injuries were reported, but police say the Titan took on minor damage.
The other was on Monday night in Rayne Township. State police say around 8:08 PM, 33-year-old Chelsea Landis of Lucernemines was driving West on Route 110, just east of Tonkin Road, when she ran head-on into a tree that fell across both lanes of travel. Her car continued about 30 feet before coming to a controlled rest facing west on the westbound shoulder. No injuries were reported, but the car she was driving was disabled and had to be towed.
