The District 6 Class A basketball championships will be decided tonight at Mount Aloysius. In the girls game, it will be Williamsburg taking on Bishop Guilfoyle. The boys championship features top seed Portage against number two Harmony, and we’ll have the games on Renda Digital TV starting at 5:45. You can watch the games by the Renda Digital TV YouTube channel, which is available on each of our Renda Broadcasting radio websites.
Portage is, of course, a Heritage Conference team, and the Mustangs will be the first of five teams from the conference to play for a District 6 title this week. Coach Travis Kargo says Harmony is a big-time offensive team.
Tomorrow, the Double-A title games will feature Homer-Center against United for the girls championship and United and West branch for the boys. On Friday, the River Valley girls play Westmont Hilltop in the Triple-A championship.
