The chorus of voices demanding that Governor Wolf open Indiana County and others with relatively low Covid-19 infections continues to grow louder. State Senator Joe Pittman calls Wolf’s decision to keep the county closed “ludicrous and arbitrary”.
In a letter to the governor, Representative Jim Struzzi says “Pennsylvanians continue to express exasperation and frustration at (Wolf’s) indistinct direction”.
Representative Jeff Pyle demands of Wolf, “Justify our exclusion. Show your math. Tell me why my people cannot go back to work.”
Representative Chris Dush has signed on to a letter urging U.S. Attorney General William Barr to investigate Wolf’s “heavy-handed activities”.
And Representative Joseph Petrarca says it’s “simply not fair to lump our more rural counties in with urban ones.”
Senator Pittman and Representative Struzzi will be on Indiana In the Morning on WCCS on Monday at 9:45.
