State Police are investigating a theft in East Wheatfield Township where someone stole $1900 worth of items. Troopers say that the theft happened between March 15th and April 21st at a property on Route 711 in East Wheatfield Township. Among the items stolen are a gray boat, a propane grill, a wood and iron picnic table, three vacuum cleaners, a record player, a dremmel tool, a lawn cart, garden tools and three trail cameras. The owner of the property is identified only as a 50-year-old woman from Seward. The investigation is continuing.
State police are investigating a case of theft by deception-impersonation. Troopers say that on December 7th of last year, an unidentified person unlawfully used a check belonging to a 77-year-old Armagh man for $75. The investigation is ongoing.
