The busy weekend for Indiana County’s first responders continued on Sunday with more brush fires and a vehicle accident reported.
Along with the brush fire reported at 12:40 AM on Sunday, one was reported at 1:25 PM on Crawford Road in West Wheatfield Township. Clyde and Bolivar fire departments were dispatched at the time. A third brush fire was reported at 5:13 PM on Rich Hill Road in Cherryhill Township. Cherryhill Township firefighters were dispatched at the time.
And a vehicle fire was reported at 1:26 PM on Williams Road in Black Lick Township. Black Lick, Blairsville and Aultman fire departments were called out initially, while Coral-Graceton fire crews were called in to standby for Black Lick firefighters about a half-hour later.
