The Pennsylvania Department of Health, as of noon today, reported that the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Indiana County returned to 63, one day after the number was adjusted from 63 to 62, while the number of Indiana County deaths attributed to Covid-19 remained at four.
In Indiana County, Indiana – the 15701 zip code – has the most positive cases with 19.
Among neighboring counties, Westmoreland reports the most positive cases, with three reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 386 and 25 deaths, an increase of five in the last 24 hours. Armstrong County’s total of positive cases remained at 50, with two deaths, while Jefferson County stayed at four positive cases and Cambria County increased by three to 25, with one death.
The state is reporting that the number of positive cases in Pennsylvania reached 44,366, an increase of 1,102 from Tuesday. The 26 to 49 year old age group has the most positive cases with 38 percent of the 44,366 cases. Deaths in Pennsylvania atributed to confirmed cases increased by 479 to 2,195.
While 44,366 have tested positive in the state, 170,517 have tested negative. In Indiana County, 647 have tested negative.
