Indiana Borough Police say that an Indiana woman has been charged in connection with a crash from mid-February.
Police say on February 18th at 5:04 PM, officers were called out to a three-vehicle crash in the area of North 6th Street and Clark Avenue. The investigation showed that 35-year-old Kristen Previte was driving the Kia Sportage south on North 6th Street when she allegedly sideswiped a northbound Chevy Equinox before colliding with a northbound GMC Yukon head-on. Both Previte and the driver of the Equinox were trapped and had to be extricated by members of the Indiana Fire Association. Police were also assisted on-scene by Citizen’s Ambulance and the State Police accident reconstruction unit.
Previte now faces charges of aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence, DUI, reckless driving and related crimes.
