At Monday night’s Indiana School Board Meeting, District Superintendent Michael Vuckovich said he wanted to start planning for any and all eventualities for the 2020-2021 school year.
Vuckovich said in his report that he wants to be prepared for any situation the district may face at the start of the next school year, with the ideal situation being face-to-face education.
As part of his prep, Vuckovich will meet with other local superintendents to discuss and work through ideas for the school year.
During the meeting, the district approved the 2019-2020 graduating class list, approved applying for waivers for this school year concerning the mandatory 180 student day requirement, along with requirements for fire drills and school bus evacuation drills, and approved all contracts for the Senior High Lifeskills classroom renovation and chair lift project.
