Several sentencing hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County Court, including a man who was charged in two separate crimes in 2019.
25-year-old Marquice Mann of Indiana will go before Judge Michael Clark for one sentencing hearing. In that hearing, he will be sentenced to guilty pleas to defiant criminal trespass and possession of a small amount of marijuana in a case from February of 2019. The other hearing will be before Judge Thomas Bianco on a charge of criminal trespass on September 14th of last year.
Mann has two other active cases in the court system. One of those cases is from September 3rd of last year. In that case he is facing felony charges of robbery, kidnapping for ransom, kidnapping to inflict injury or terrorize and misdemeanor charges of unlawful restraint, reckless endangerment, theft and false imprisonment. The other active case dates back to August 14th, and in that incident he was charged with three felony counts of terroristic threats and single felony counts of robbery with the threat of serious injury, theft and receiving stolen property and three misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment. Formal arraignment in both of those cases is scheduled for tomorrow in front of Judge Michael Clark. Mann will also face judges today for probation revocation in three cases.
Also due for sentencing today is:
- Jamie Lee Barnhart of Armagh. The 40-year-old man is due for sentencing for a guilty plea to a charge of retail theft from May of 2019. A charge of conspiracy to theft by deception was not prosecuted. Barnhart is also due for a revocation hearing today.
- 23-year-old Ryan Fuller of Philadelphia, who pleaded guilty to charges of strangulation and terroristic threats connected with an incident on October 13th of 2018. Other charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and harassment were not prosecuted.
