In Indiana County, Indiana – the 15701 zip code – has the most positive cases with 19.
Among neighboring counties, Westmoreland reports the most positive cases, with 43 reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 360 and 19 deaths, an increase of two in the last 24 hours. Armstrong County’s total of positive cases increased to 46, with two deaths, while Jefferson County stayed at four positive cases and Cambria County ticked up to 21 with one death.
The state is reporting that the number of positive cases in Pennsylvania reached 40,049, an increase of 1,397 from Friday. The 26 to 49 year old age group has the most positive cases with 38 percent of the 40,049 cases. Deaths in Pennsylvania due to confirmed cases increased by 45 to 1,537.
While 40,049 have tested positive in the state, 152,886 have tested negative. In Indiana County, 564 have tested negative.
