A popular food program that has been helping to feed families in need will move to different areas of the county today.
Today from 2-3 PM, the Salvation Army will once again distribute meals, but this time, it will be from the parking lots of the Penns Manor and Blairsville schools. Three hundred meals will be available at each location, with two meals in a bag. Each household will receive two frozen trays of barbeque from Operation Barbeque Relief.
The program has proved a popular one in Indiana, with supplies running out quickly after opening up at the KCAC. Representatives with the Salvation Army say that the program will return to the KCAC next week, but the time and what will be included in the bags has not been determined yet.
