State police have issued a batch of reports on a number of crimes, including an incident at SCI Pine Grove involving two inmates. Police say that on April 15th, an inmate from Pittsburgh told prison personnel that he has been tied up another inmate. No other details are available.
Other police reports today:
- Someone got in through a window at the Iselin Church along Iselin Road on March 14th, and stole a tray of food that had been prepared for others for free.
- Someone loosened the lug nuts on two vehicles parked along Second Avenue in Conemaugh Township between April 14th and the 21st. The victims are a 34-year-old Saltsburg woman and a 32-year-old Kent man.
- A thief stole eighty dollars in cash from the drawer of a 70-year-old woman who lives along Lions Health Camp Road in White Township between April 5th and the 22nd.
- 30-year-old Brooke Carnahan of Homer City is facing theft charges after police say she intentionally under-rang $213.30 worth of items at the White Township Walmart store on April 12th. Carnahan was observed via video surveillance monitoring.
- A 21-year-old Blairsville man reported to state police on April 15th that someone opened a fraudulent DirectTV account in his name, stealing services valued at more than $821.
- State police at Kiski Valley are investigating numerous Childline reports of sexual assault involving four female victims, ages 4, 8, 10, and 26, at a home along Campbell Street in Derry Township, Westmoreland County. The children are from Westmoreland City. The woman is from Blairsville. The incidents are dated between January 1st and February 1st.
