One person was taken to the hospital following a crash along South Ben Franklin Road in White Township Wednesday morning.
Indiana County 911 dispatched Indiana Fire Association, Citizens’ Ambulance and state police to the area near the Lowe’s entrance around 11:50 a.m. for the crash involving two cars. Indiana Assistant Fire Chief Ron Moreau said one vehicle had gone straight through the guard rails instead of turning left or right. After the rails were removed, the car went down an embankment and was pinned against a parked vehicle, trapping the driver inside.
Moreau broke down how firefighters separated the two cars.
The driver was taken to a nearby medical facility for evaluation of potential injuries.
