At Tuesday night’s meeting, the United School Board received a clean audit report.
The report was presented by Kotzan CPA and Associates. The report was exactly the same as last year. Board President Eric Matava credited the district’s finance director G. Thomas Kalinyak with the good work on the audit, and he said he feels good as the district goes into budget season.
The board unanimously approved the audit report.
In other business, the board approved repealing policy 808.2 regarding free and reduced-price meals and free milk. The reason for the repeal is that the policy is included in the general board policy concerning school meals, so it was removing a redundancy in the policy. Finally the board approved the revised activity request for two teachers to join students attending the Walt Disney World trip on April 10th to 15th.
