The CDC is reporting, as of noon today, that a second death attributed to Covid-19 has occurred in Indiana County. Both victims were residents of personal care homes. The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Indiana County increased by one to 44.
Armstrong County’s total of confirmed cases went up to 32, with one death, while Jefferson County stayed at two confirmed cases and Cambria County remained at 14 confirmed cases and one death. Westmoreland County confirmed cases climbed to 240, with deaths climbing to 13.
The number of confirmed cases in Pennsylvania increased to 27,735, with deaths passing the 700 mark at 707. Sixty deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. The 26 to 49 year old age group has the most positive cases with 40 percent of the 27,735 confirmed cases.
