Another honor for IUP basketball star Malik Miller, who yesterday was named a third-team All-American by the Division II Bulletin. It’s his second All-American honor. He was also part of the National Association of Basketball Coaches team announced last month.
Miller is one of seven IUP players in the last eleven seasons to earn All-American honors by at least two outlets. He was also a first team All-Atlantic Region selection by the NABC and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association, and was the PSAC Western Division Athlete of the Year.
Miller averaged 18.5 points per game this season and had the IUP basketball program’s third-ever triple-double when he scored twenty points, had eleven rebounds, and dished out ten assists against Edinboro. The senior wrapped up his career ranked twelfth in IUP history with 1,525 points.
